Taiwan Bound // Part 1

Probably a week back, i went on an impromtu trip to Taiwan with my mum by Scoot. I heard a lot about scoot but i've never taken it before, so was pretty excited to sit on the plane. #smallkid.

Arrived at about 6 plus close to 7am in the morning. Quite tedious for a mid-night flight. Literally slept through the journey. Took a bus to my cousin's place at Ban Qiao.

Simple breakfast round the corner of my cousin's place.

First stop, 五分埔 ( Nearest Mrt station is Houshanpi ). A maze of lanes and alleys full of racks of clothing that carries literally everything. It usually opens at like 1pm to 2 pm in the afternoon and no joke you can really walk like for hours to get stuff. There are quite a number of shops that sell guys stuff too. Side note this egg ball taste really good! Hahaha.

Decided to meet my cousin over at Taipei 101 ( Neaerest Mrt station is Taipei Cityhall ) for dinner before heading back to rest. Was pretty early so we decided to walk around in the mall. Quite alot of unique stuff you can find there other than like those common Muji, Swatch etc.

Here i am at 淡水 the last station of the red line in Taiwan. Walk along the alley to the very end you will get to see a place where you can go and board a boat over to their little bali island. It is a rural district in the northwestern part of New Taipei City in northern Taiwan. I guess not alot of people actually been there. Decided to go over for lunch before heading back to continue walking. It's pretty big hence we took almost a day to walk around the area.

Loving the night view at my cousin's place. Off to night market!

西門町 ( Nearest Mrt station is Ximen ) on the 3rd day, where youths like me, ehhh hemmmm, not old yet to shop. & not only that, it's filled with many talented people on top of the typical trendy clothes, shoes, and food. Exiting from the MRT station you can see like various bands playing across the streets. This place itself can last you to walk for a day definitely.

Or you can pop by Shilin Night Market ( Nearest Mrt station is Jiantan). Is definitely quite a buy if you ever come here. The stuff are pretty cheap, i must say cheaper than what you can find at some places. Try out this Wanton mee, it's really good!
