Food Review: Rong Fu Ji x Grandstand
Heard of Rong Fu Ji Seafood Steam Pot before? I mean it's a season where all the steam potting is in trend. HAHA Let me share with you more about it if you don't know, it is Singapore’s First Steam Pot restaurant offers the new way of steam pot where the real taste of seafood is unleashed through the unique steaming cooking-style.
Other than seafood, they also do have dim sums, etc. Haha, basically we tot it was pretty little eating just seafood with no carbs. Like in our head we were thinking like, where will full! But legit once you reach to the porridge, you will definitely be full. I think it was an interesting experience and the cooking process was user-friendly although i didn't like touch the timer and temperature control, Jon did but it seems easy to use. The food was fresh and not fishy (Even a person like me who hate fish eats it, i think it is really not fishy). I think the fish was one of my favorite few dish other than the crab that taste sedappppp!
I know is a little far, but overall i think i was a good experience so if you will like to go for a seafood steam pot experience, you can visit Rong Fu Ji Seafood Steam Pot at the address below. Be sure to follow them on their Facebook Page too!
So here i am at Rong Fu Ji for dinner. Basically, before everything, they will actually pour like rice grain and the soup flavor into the pot first. They have different kind of soup flavor, so you can get to pick. Temperature is also controlled and a timer is given just to ensure the food is not overly cooked. To prevent the pot from drying out, water is pumped from water containers under the tables. During the meal, the juices from the ingredients drip into the pot, adding flavor to the rice that is slowly cooking to become porridge.
