Decided to get ourselves some drinks while waiting.

Tomato Basil Bruschetta
The bottom bread-like thing is a french baguette which taste really awesome, makes me think of garlic bread but however i think that the parmesan cheese was a little overpowering to those that aren't a fan of cheese.

Creamy Chicken Pie
The first bite of it taste like carbonara. I think this is one of the better dish served. They are quite generous in the serving of their ingredients. Love how soft the chunky chicken thigh meat is.

Chef’s Signature Crab Cakes
I think it is one of the popular dish at Bakerzin and i would recommend this. It's lightly seasoned and robustly flavored. Serve with mango and pineapple salsa.

Put on your little chef hat and 'whip' up your own pasta dish with Bakerzin's latest DIY Pasta concept! Show off your creativity and 'whip' out your own pasta dish. Is very simple, start off by choosing your choice of pasta, what style you want your pasta to be cooked in, and also the choice of ingredients you would like to add to enhance your pasta experience.

Coffee Pulled Pork + Arabiata
Arrabiata is a classic Italian tomato-based sauce that's most often served with penne pasta, so when it was served i find it a little weird because they served it in spaghetti form. But however the taste of it is just neutral, not really fantastic but edible.

Coffee Pulled Pork + Laksa Cream
I have never ever thought of this combination. When i saw it in the menu, i was are you serious bro. Laska in pasta form, okay the thought of it was disgusting. But But legit. My favorite dish among every other dish! The portion was generous, and the laska sauce was just nice, not too thick nor creamy, and the texture of the pasta somehow reminded me of the fried noodles. The spicy level i guess is about the same as a normal laska, or i would say less spicy. Actually it depends on your spice level. However i wouldn't recommend coffee pulled pork as your ingredient as it over power the taste of it, maybe you can go for pork sausage, beef meatballs or mixed seafood would be better.

Ham Bacon Mushroom + Aglio Olio
The combination of this out of the 3 pasta i tried was the best. However i felt that the pasta was a little oily then how an agile olio would be. Definitely better if they reduce the amount of oil by a bit, but the taste was fantastic. It just goes well complementing each other.

Coffee Pulled Pork Burger
The delightful succulent pork shoulder paired with a specialized homemade coffee BBQ sauce. However on this dish, i think the coffee BBQ sauce isn’t really overpowering but it gives a subtle kiss of flavor that will lingers on the tongue.

Mum’s Chicken Curry
The fragrance of the curry really does kick off the hunger in your body, the aroma is so good. #drools. With succulent chicken and potatoes simmered in a mildly spicy curry base, we had zero complaints. Warning to those who can't take spicy! This is kind of spicy.

Chiczella
Tantalizing Southern styled deep fried chicken thigh meat baked in cornflakes and coated with melted mozzarella cheese. The combination doesn't really taste bad , kind of have the KFC crispy chicken taste.

Beer Battered Calamari
The first bite to it was really crispy, and it does taste addictive when it is hot! i think i finish half of it. Just that the portion is a little small.

Truffle Fries
I wouldn’t suggest this as it wasn’t the type of truffle fries i expected. The taste of the truffle wasn’t really strong, just taste like normal fries. But the fries batter was good, even without dipping into the tartar dip.

Warm Chocolate Cake
Was quite disappointed when the chocolate didn't woosh out when i cut it open. But forget about that, the rich chocolate goodness serve with the vanilla ice cream was so good.

Chendol Mousse Cake
In conjunction with celebrating Singapore’s 52nd birthday, Bakerzin have even greater news for you. Bakerzin Artisan Ice Cream
It comes in two flavor, chocolate and vanilla. I took the Vanilla one. The smell of the ice cream was good. Love how the texture is, madly thick and creamy. YUMMMY!

They are currently having an on going promotion; Weekday Lunch Special Menu priced at $8.80 is now available from 11am to 2:30pm. With an additional $2.50, you get to enjoy either a glass of special cooler or soup of the day. There is also an alternative for you to get both ~
(While Stock Last)

Personally i think usually when a restaurant starts to expand, the quality of the food will actually drop. But I would say that Bakerzin have done a pretty decent job keeping up the overall dining experience. If you need more information you can check out the links below:
