Food Review: Tipo Pasta Bar

I have always been a great fan of pasta, So when I chanced upon Tipo on Facebook, a halal pasta bar along North Bridge Road that serves their own handmade pasta, I just had to jio my kaki to try it out.

Tipo Pasta Bar is about the celebration of artisanal produce – the pasta at Tipo are handcrafted using high quality ingredients and the re-imagination of how flavours can be combined and elevated using its surrounding elements. It's definitely an impossible to miss place when you walk along North Bridge Road, the restaurant stood out amongst the other stores with their pretty pastel colour concept.

I like how i am able to customize my own pasta. So basically to build your own pasta right, is dam easy. First, you just choose the size of your pasta, whether you want your pasta to be Regular ($9.90) or Grande ($12.90). Next Step, you get to pick your type of pasta and it's flavor. Then you choose your sauce base, they have Aglio Olio, Alfredo, Pomodoro, Roosted Red Pepper and Beef Ragu. Last but not least, your toppings. They do have number of selection of the toppings which you can pick from.

However, if you aren't really a fan of creating your own pasta, you can always go for their Pre-set pastas.


I would recommend to make a reservation before coming, as the place is really packed. Walk-ins would not be recommended. If you love pasta, this is definitely a place for you. I can't wait to be back to try out more of their different combination of pasta. #excited. Alrights, signing off.
