I would say the pain is about 1/10 , it was almost painless. I believe when the unwanted hair become thinner and less noticeable it will be painless by then. But if you are afraid you may ask them to adjust the power to low if you have no tolerance for pain. I love the service there, the therapist was very nice and caring, she just keep checking on me from time to time to make sure i am all comfortable and painless during the treatment.
