Food Review: Ippin Cafe Bar

So blessed to be invited by them a week ago with a few other bloggers, yes a hidden gem at Mohamed Sultan Road!

The moment you step in you can sense the cozy Japanese home dining feeling with a mini shopping shelf with all their premium selection for you to purchase some stuff if you want to bring it home.

My favorite dish out of all is the Stir-fried potato and pork with garlic sauce. I got to admit it was quite addictive. Me and Jon were like fighting over the food. Hahah, Although it may look like the simplest ordinary dish but it definitely has the best taste! What's more it's only $8! #damworthit. I think i would even be back for this for the second time.

They called this the Ayu fish, they usually appear in a certain season and naturally taste sweet. If you guys wanna try it, it goes well with sake!

I don't really fancy this dish but i mean no harm trying. The seaweed on the outer layer isn't the normal seaweed, is one of the premium ones wrapped with salmon in the centre. So for those of you who loves salmon maybe you can go for this dish!

Usually found in the Nagara river cause of their clear water. This walnuts and sardines really goes well with a cup of dry sake.

My first reaction when i first saw this was, do i use hand or fork! I mean it's wrapped for a reason right. Okay so the proper way to eat the Rice ball with Miso Onion was to unwrapped it and hold it in your hands to eat. I would rate this a 8/10, taste pretty decent.

Recommended to try this everyone! This Houjicha smells really fragrance and those pregnant ladies out there, you can try this! It's low in caffeine hence not that bad uh.

This Beef with mushroom sauce and potato salad is one of the top few dishes i would recommend to try. Those creamy lovers, you will definitely love this. Usually when the beef is like literally cook, most of you that eat beef will know when it's cook it's hard to chew. But this is definitely one of the easiest cooked beef to chew and yet it taste good with no sight of any red bloody area.

I got to say i have never like chawan mushi, not a fan of it but this just blew my mind away. I find that it's not as eggy and the smell wasn't as strong as the other chawan mushi you find outside. But the ingredients inside i guess it's the same.

It's a tea jelly dessert and it comes with the set meals usually. It's not the usual kind of sweet jelly but somehow it does taste good.

The Zuzu soda, which is the one in the centre really taste the best out of all the other 2 i have tasted. It's a sweet soda made from Zuzu Juice and Natural Mineral Water from Yuwaku Onsen in Kanazawa. It's a must try when you are here.

One thing good about the cafe is that the prices are NETT! Here's something special for you guys, download this application called "Sugar" for a 30% off.
