Filtech, My Saviour in Life

Water is supposed to be tasteless, right? Turns out it’s a little more complicated. Our saliva and our tongues’ taste receptors have various enzymes and minerals that combine with foods (and water) to affect how we perceive “taste”. Tap water is dirtier than what it looks. I mean it's Singapore, we are so use to just drinking from tap or water cooler right? Then what about the countries we visit when we go for vacation or business trips? Do you know that Tap water is treated with a large number of chemicals in order to kill bacteria and other microorganisms. In addition, it may contain other undesirable contaminants such as:
Lead
It's toxic to majority of the organs and is responds badly to children very quickly. When lead is being consumed by drinking water especially and it stays with the red blood cells as tests have been proven from the doctors.
Chlorine
It's quite commonly found in our drinking water and it is added for purification purposes knowing that it is not 100% safe. In the long run, some effects will include impaired balance and a loss of memory.
Mercury
It's one of the most highly dangerous element as it can result to brain damage, cognitive disability, loss of memory, rashes on skin, brain damage, blindness etc...
Arsenic
The exposure of Arsenic to people can be through drinking contained water and food preparation that involves contaminated water. The effects of Arsenic poisoning can cause abdominal pain, vomiting, lung cancer, bladder cancer and even death for severe cases.
Fluoride
For those who don't know, the drinking water actually contains fluoride. Back in the 1940's, the process of adding fluoride to drinking water started to aid in reducing tooth decays. It may seem really helpful for the add on, but in actual fact fluoride actually is neurotoxin. The possible harmful effects involve the calcify the pineal gland and the thyroid gland which leads to unwanted invitations.
Pathogens
They are micro-organisms and they can cause diseases. It consists of bacteria, protozoa and viruses. They are normally found and spread through drinking water.
Perchlorates
Can be found in water, soils and plants. It even makes its way up to the food chain and even more organically grown foods. Perchlorate that lingers in our environment is a health concern as it can disrupt the thyroid's function to be producing hormones that are needed for normal growth and development especially for young infants.

So thankful for Filtech to send me the Filtra Plus FWF 177 – Tap Water Filter! For those of you who don't know, this Tap Water Filter is designed in Japan for cleaner and better-tasting water. But with Filtech's water filter, it eliminates up to 99% of Bacteria, Impurities and Chlorine. It comes with different sizes of tap adapters making it is suitable for all kinds of faucets and taps.

This is a 2 Step Ultra Filtration.
First step is to activate carbon. The granular activated carbon incorporates absorption and catalytic reduction mechanism for embellished and arguments purification efficiency. It also deodorize, improve color and taste of water.
Step two enhanced hollow filter membrane. It offers Filtech's fine fibre micro-porous membrane technology for pervasive particle exclusion filtration to discard hanging colloids up to 0.1 micron in size while at the same time preserving necessary minerals intact. In addition, it also eliminates up to 99% of bacteria to maintain quality drinking water standard.

At first i thought it would be super hard to fix, but ohmy it's super easy. #likealegit It comes in a 3 mode-switch the Filtered, Unfiltered Shower, Unfiltered Stream. What's more it's certified and tested by the NSF. #safe Personally i think it's really user friendly, highly recommended to put it in a house. {Ps: I even got another one to put over at my parent's place}

Remember to quote "VIVIAN10" to be entitled for a 10% off total bill for all purchase!
