Double Trouble at Wild Wild Wet!

A one-stop leisure and lifestyle destination, Downtown East is a choice venue for NTUC members and Singaporeans to enjoy a wide array of entertainment options at affordable prices. From a humble beginning as NTUC Pasir Ris Resort, it was redeveloped in 2000 to become Downtown East, one of the largest lifestyle and recreational hubs in Singapore. Its laid-back ambience, complete with resort facilities and a water park, makes for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Downtown East is also a popular choice for union and corporate events with various entertainment entities available at the same destination, including a broad variety of dining and retail options.

 Today, Downtown East is home to D’Resort, Wild Wild Wet, Market Square and MUCE (meeting and conventions facilities). Super thankful for Sample Store in giving me a chance to visit Wild Wild Wet again after i think 1 to 2  years of not going there. #superexcitedtotryoutnewrides. 

The Woosh
It's the newest ride yet in WWW, and it's Singapore longest inflatable freestyle water slide which is about 50 meters long. Yes i mean 50m, that is about 5000cm! Sadly it's only here temporarily, the last day to get to try this is on the 30 July this year. It wasn't really what i expect it to be but i know kids will definitely like this.
Torpedo
I think this is one of the new rides you can find in WWW too. You get to experience free-falling from four storeys high and twist and turn on the Torpedo! Recommended for those who are not afraid of heights, i mean by totally not afraid. HAHA, cause i cannot take it. I felt as if i ended my life that instant i drop. However, i think the ride is not really smooth though cause my friend had a small part of his flesh open, like legit there is a contrast between his skin and his flesh! Super obvious, but no doubt he said it was worth the try!

Splash Play
Suitable for family with kids as they can get to enjoy the all-new Splash Play where little ones can splash around the low water with fun jets and water sprays. I'm still a kid! HAHAHA

Kidz Zone
Since your child can't get on the bigger and longer slides, they definitely can go for this. You can even slide down with them!

Shiok River 
This is my number one favorite place in WWW before Woosh came out, cause i like to just sit on the float and be push by the current. #lazyqueenbee I find that it's quite peaceful as compared to all the other rides you sit on though, wonder your mind away with the sun shining at you.

Tsunami
It combines the best of swimming pools and the sea to give you the excitement of the surf under controlled conditions. Without the hassle of choppy swells or dangerous currents, even kids can feel totally at ease in the water. When your friend gets too overly confident with his balancing skill on the unicorn and capsize when the Tsunami alert came on! HAHAHAH. #perksofhavingfunnyfriends

Professor's Playground
Looking for a place that will generate hours of fun for your kids? What can be a better way to rivet a kid's attention than the double attraction of a playground located in a swimming pool? Designed around the theme of an experimental laboratory, Professor's Playground packs a myriad of classic fixtures such as slides, ladders, water cannons and fountains. Definitely safe for kids. We practically spent sometime sitting there relaxing, getting to see kids running here and there having fun actually made our day better.

Ular-Lah
This is the only ride that can fit up to 6 people. The first raft slide in Southeast Asia, Ular-Lah is a super flume ride that offers you a chance to brave the rapids with five other companions. Ideal for thrill and adrenaline seekers, it's the closest thing you'll ever experience next to white water rafting! Remember not to bring anything if you are taking this ride, they probably will chase you back down to keep them.

It's super good to be back here again. I think is kinda a good bonding with my friends to get even closer with them and spent time together especially in the shiok river. With the revamp of the new Downtown East, there are so many things to eat and play now (Super Kids friendly).
